Vasectomy Reversal Find Clinic
Dr. Grey performs only vasectomy reversals. However, these "fertility tidbits" are offered to acquaint you not only with aspects of vasectomy reversal surgery, but with facets of fertility not related to vasectomy reversal. Q. Should I have my surgery done at a teaching hospital?
You will probably pay a bit more and a trainee (resident or fellow) may do at least part of your surgery. Don't be naive enough to think otherwise. (The only exception I know of is Dr. Marc Goldstein who does every vasectomy reversal himself.)
Often, your surgeon will supervise the procedure in addition to doing a portion himself. Sometimes, he'll simply keep the resident or fellow company and direct him from across the O. R. table. Usually your surgeon will be scrubbed in and at least assist his trainee. That's how surgeons are trained.
The question is whether you want one learning on you.
